Prep begins for milk_shake show ‘The Afterlife’
Preparations for upcoming milk_shake show The Afterlife got underway this week with an inspiring video-shoot.
Shelley Pengilly and Becky Wardrop collaborated to create some visual masterpieces, alongside talented videographer Simon Huntley and exceptional MUA, Jessica Verity. When asked about their inspiration and what the audience should expect from the show, milk_shake ambassadors Shelley Pengilly and Becky Wardop had this to say;
Our intention is for The After Life to be an intensely visual experience; more visual than anything we have attempted before.Our ideas are to be performed on stage, explored through the concepts of heaven and hell.
The theme came to fruition after considering how the milk_shake and NO INHIBITION brands relate to one another.
Milk_shake is young, fresh, delicate and ethereal – clients routinely describe the scents of the products as heavenly. On the other hand, NO INHIBITION is intense. The images feel high fashion and editorial. This allowed us to be more dark and dramatic in our approach to styling our hell models
