Taking Inspiration from Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2024

Have you seen Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2024? Peach Fuzz has been dubbed the colour of 2024, and with its warm, delicate shades we can see why.

Here’s what Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director at Pantone said about the colour:

‘In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.’

We absolutely love the thought and feeling behind this colour!

Peach Fuzz harmonises well with a variety of warm neutral tones as well as bolder colours, making it a versatile hair colour choice. We particularly love it paired with other neutral, peach and pinky tones to create a whimsical and warm feel.

In the salon, we have enjoyed creating this colour on some of our clients who love a bold colour change. How gorgeous does our client Keziah look?

The gentle, neutral tones of peach make it a great hair colour choice for anyone, irrespective of skin tone. You need to have fairly light hair to begin with, but unlike silver or light pink hair, it does not need an almost white-blonde base. The peach dye blends well with a wide range of blondes.

If you’re not ready to commit to a permanent colour, you can also try a peach toner or semi-permanent colour to your hair. Pop into the salon or send us a message if this is something you’d like to try and we can advise you on your best options.
